Italian automaker Fiat will show a stand packed full of attractions at the 62nd Frankfurt Motor Show- highlighted by a color-themed display setup that represents the Italian flag. Green, white and red will be used to accent the various exhibits, and each color has its own unique meaning to the event, Fiat says.

Fiat 500

The green exhibit represents a dedication to the protection of the environment- an essential part of the development of their models. Defining this goal are machines like the Panda Panda Climbing or Multipla Natural Power Special Edition- which operate on a gas and methane dual-fuel engine. Two new engines will also make an appearance. Called T-Jet powerplants, they're said to be the best example of Fiat's research into conventional engines designed to minimize environmental impact.

The second part of Fiat's stand is themed with white- a color commonly associated with new beginnings and fresh starts. The display is dedicated to the new Fiat 500 model which will be making its first international appearance at Frankfurt since being first shown back in July. The car represents the "new" Fiat, with a reproduction of the original machine created- though five times lager in size. This part of Fiat's stand is set off by videos, lighting effects and a special soundtrack.

Fiat Grande Punto Abarth

Lastly, with the color red being used to display passion and energy, the Abarth section is intended to communicate the sportiness, technology and tradition the brand is known for. This area will house the Grande Punto Abarth S2000 and a prototype "Essesse" designated variant of the same car. Essesse is Italian for Super Sport.
