It seems as though Dodge never has a dull moment lately, and announcements from the Daimler Chrysler brand today make it apparent that this won't change anytime soon.

Dodge Nitro, the brand's first mid-size SUV, is set to arrive in showrooms this fall and has a starting price of $23,290. Nitro features space, performance and flexibility with flat-folding seats to offer a variety of loading options. An exclusive Load 'n' Go cargo floor adds to the versatility and cargo space, with the ability to hold over 180 kilograms.

Available features include heated leather seats, DVD Navigation and a new entertainment system that holds over 2500 songs on an on-board hard drive.

Flexibility for buyers includes four available Nitro models: SE, SXT, SLT and R/T. The standard engine is a 3.7 litre SOHC V6 engine with 210 horsepower,

available with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic. The top-line R/T model benefits from a 4.0 litre V6 engine with 255 horsepower, and is priced at $32,390 in 4x4 trim.

Dodge also announced pricing on their Ram 3500 Chassis Cab, set to arrive at showrooms and job-sites this fall. The Chassis Cab boasts many class-leading attributes including steel strength, single rear-wheel GVWR and fuel capacity. Power from either the 5.7 litre Hemi engine or new 6.7 litre Cummins turbo-diesel engine (delayed introduction) is enough to tackle any job. Starting price for the Chassis Cab is $28,995.
