We can't wait for summer, for a ton of reasons. But one of them is that when the hot weather returns, the second-fastest Toyota model (in terms of 0-100 km/h acceleration) will be a plug-in hybrid SUV!
Indeed, the 2021 RAV4 Prime will only be outdone by that metric by the very sporty (and not electric) Toyota GR Supra. With 302 hp, an estimated 0-96 km/h time of 5.8 seconds and a pure electric range of 60 km, Canada's best-selling SUV is likely to increase its lead over its closest competitors.
