2002 Chrysler Concorde Road Test
The big news from Chrysler this year is the demise of the top-line LHS sedan. But wait a minute. One look at the photo makes it seem apparent that Chrysler simply axed the Concorde and then renamed the LHS. But why get rid of a perfectly good model, especially one as attractive as the previous generation Concorde? That's simple. With the Intrepid and 300M solid in their positions of LH platform entry and premium models respectively, the old LHS and Concorde made each other redundant. To reduce overall costs, the Concorde and LHS were combined and simply dubbed Concorde.
