GM recalls 9,150 SUVs

If you're the owner of a 2006 or 2007 GMC Envoy/Envoy XL, Chevrolet Trailblazer/Trailblazer XL, Buick Rainier or Saab 9-7X, you might be interested to know that General Motors has issued a recall on 9,150 of them.
On certain vehicles originally sold or currently operated in areas of heavy road salt usage during winter months (Ontario, Quebec, Atlantic Canada), the driver's door module could short circuit and fail. An electrical short could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury.
The appropriate correction has yet to be determined. GM will contact owners in due time.
